Our kratom story

The journey began with a personal interest in herbs. This brought the exceptional properties of the kratom plant into focus. In the search for the very best quality, it quickly became clear that there were many quality differences in what was available on the market. After finding the highest-quality kratom, we shared it with as many people in our immediate surroundings as possible. We developed a passion for kratom. The combination of this passion, existing IT knowledge and experience with commercial sales led to the launch of the Kraatje webshop.

Start-up and growth

After thorough research, we found the best possible supplier in 2012. In addition to the best quality kratom available, they possessed in-depth knowledge of the product and the supply chain. In the early days, the volumes were still low and work was carried out from a specially prepared barn. Volumes increased rapidly and Kraatje outgrew its capacity in 2016.

Kraatje moved to a modern business premises at the end of 2016. The surface area is more than 1000 square meters. We do our best to minimize the impact on our environment by being energy-neutral electricity wise. We have over 100 solar panels, electric company cars and multiple charging stations. The building's heating is optimized and all lighting is LED. In addition, we separate all our waste and minimize packaging materials.

The company has very clean production facilities with laboratory-grade equipment. The packaging, production and mixing of products is primarily automated.

The present

Today, Kraatje is one of the largest online kratom stores in Europe. The products come directly from the source and we manage the entire supply chain ourselves.
